Papua LNG seeks to assist Papua New Guinea’s progress towards achieving its Vision 2050, by supporting sustainable economic growth and job creation through building the capacity of key stakeholders, effective government and supporting long-term partnerships.
Our National Content activity is guided by the Papua LNG National Content Plan, received by the national government in formal submission, on September 6, 2023. Papua LNG works alongside the National Government to deliver its National Content goals.
National Content is defined as the Project’s commitment to enable economic inclusion opportunities to Papua New Guineans, as priority under 3 Pillars of activity: Workforce Development, Supplier Development, and Strategic Community Investment.
In 2024, National Content made significant progress in these three domains, which is considered a unique achievement, as the Project still works toward a Final Investment Decision.
