Monitoring and Reporting
Monitoring and reporting are central to Papua LNG’s commitment to responsible development. Ongoing studies, including critical habitat analysis, pre-clearance surveys, ecosystem services assessments, invasive species characterization and conservation nursery design, continuously inform and strengthen the Project’s Biodiversity and Ecosystems Strategy.
As a living framework, the Biodiversity and Ecosystems Strategy evolves alongside the Project, guided by data from monitoring programs and field observations. This adaptive approach ensures that decisions remain grounded in up-to-date environmental and social insights.
The Operators TEP PNG will align on a coordinated reporting approach (e.g., incidents, project changes, monitoring, performance reviews) to the Lender’s IESC in accordance with effective loan agreement.
Performance Improvement
To improve performance, HSE action plans are regularly reviewed within each activity. Environment & Social management system effectiveness is analysed during management reviews and monitored through key performance indicators, both quantitative and qualitative.
